Q: How often does the East Bay BNI meet?A: The East Bay BNI meets once a week on Tuesday from
7:00am - 8:30am. To a busy professional, every minute counts so please
arrive on time. We follow a detailed agenda during the meeting which helps
the referral process. Q: How do you know new members are reputable?A:Our application process asks for references and they are checked. Also, our group is word of mouth, so before someone attends a meeting they have to have been invited by someone in the group. Everyone has to have a sponsor, whose job is to interview them . Q: How do I join the East Bay BNI?A:Membership in the East Bay BNI is exclusive. Members are selected based on the professions they represent, group availability and the contributions they can make. For more information, feel free to contact us or visit a meeting where an application will be provided to you. Q: Why should I join now?A: One of the major factors for any group's success is the variety of the professions represented by its members. The policy of member exclusivity will help maximize your contact base. To lock in your spot and guarantee your exclusivity in a group, you should apply as soon as possible. If someone else from your profession has already joined the group, your alternatives are to wait for a vacancy in the group or join one of the other excellent referral groups in the area. Q: What people will be in the East Bay BNI?A: Our group is carefully structured and each member is strategically chosen. Only one company in a specific industry can be represented. This will ensure a complementary and supportive group structure. Unlike trade and chamber of commerce groups, you will not be competing with other members in the group for business. This guarantees you exclusivity and will maximize your chances of receiving solid leads and business opportunities. Q: What professions benefit the most from networking?A: It is not the profession, it is the individual that makes out in our group. The occupation can be almost anything as long as they believe that you get out what you put in. If you have a focused goal and are willing to make a sacrifice, you are a person we want in our group. |
